Beaumaris Blast launched in VIC, AU.

Saturday 27th March, 2010: in March 2010 Blast Paddlers launched the first of a series of new Blast sites in Victoria, Australia. The first of which is now running regular Time Trials on the magnificent waters of Beumaris bay, in Port Philip, Melbourne Australia.

As part of our partnership with the Fitness Lifestyle and John Lisica, Blast Paddlers rolled out the first of a series of new Blast sites across the state of Victoria in Australia, starting with the heart of paddle sport in Melbourne, Beumaris Bay.

Beumaris Blast offers regular Time Trial events every weekend, first thing on Saturday mornings, run out of Beumaris Bay.

The Beumaris Blast site is being run in conjunction with John Lisica of Fitness Lifestyle & Fitness Mart (FitnessLifestyle.com.au).

Our first Time Trial event ran on Saturday 27th March 2010 and saw a solid field of keen paddlers take part in an exciting launch race, thanks to the efforts of John Lisica.

Our Melbourne Blast Paddlers are a hardy bunch, and even in the middle of the icy frozen cold of Winder (this year’s seeing record low temps!) we’re still seeing a solid core of paddlers turn out for the weekly Time Trial.
