2011 VIC Summer Series

Each year we run regional Summer & Winter race series.

This is our 2011 VIC Summer Series.

Event Locations

This year our VIC Summer Series has grown to include three exciting events at the following locations:

  1. Beaumaris
  2. Sandridge
  3. Geelong
  4. Beaumaris ( Series final )
Standard Event Format

Each race will be run to the same standard Format, including:

  • Registration
  • Event & Safety briefing
  • Group Starts
  • Sponsored “hot spot”
  • Short & Long Course options
  • Out & Back course format
  • Craft type & Age categories
  • Results posted once last paddler finishes
  • Sponsor prizes awarded by lucky draw
  • BBQ & Place Presentations
Standard Race Categories

Each race event will offer the now standard set of Categories you enter under.

The standard set of Age Categories will include:

  • Male
    • 17 & Under ( Juniors )
    • Open
    • Over 30
    • Over 40
    • Over 50
  • Female
    • 17 & Under
    • Open
    • Over 30
    • Over 40

The standard set of Craft Categories will include:

  • Kayak
    • Single
    • Double
  • Surf Ski ( SPEC & 20 foot )
    • Single
    • Double
  • Ocean Racing Ski
    • Single
    • Double
  • Outrigger Canoe
    • Single
    • Double
  • Stand Up Paddle board (SUP)
    • 12’6 Surf
    • 14 Foot
    • Unlimited
Entry Fees

All races will have two entry fee options:

  • Juniors = $FREE ( Junior paddlers 17 & under sponsored by Blast )
  • Adult = $20 for on-line entry
  • Adult = $30 for late entry “on the day”
